Completely agree with you. After TLJ I can formally said that I give up on Disney!Star Wars. Like, yeah, they may be canon according Disney, but for me they are an alternative canon now, for me, the real saga always will be Lucas' saga, and I hope one day we can see the original plans that Lucas had for episodes VII-IX (since Mark Hamill said that Disney should had been more open to Lucas' advice and original outline).
Luke, Leia and Han deserved better. WAY BETTER than what they got in TFA and TLJ.
